DEVELOPMENT OF IDEAS OF PRACTICE-ORIENTED TEACHER’S TRAINING (HISTORICAL AND PEDAGOGICAL ASPECT)

Abstract. The article deals with the succession of ideas and the most significant trends traced in practice-oriented teacher’s training throughout the history of pedagogy. The views of individual scholars and educators on the connection of theory and practice in teacher’s pedagogical activity, and various aspects of the problem of practice-oriented education are revealed. Particular attention is paid to the characterization of practice-oriented and competence-based approaches as modern paradigms of pedagogical education.
