PROBLEM OF POLITICAL VIOLENCE IN "THE SONG OF THE NIBELUNGS"

Abstract. In the article by the material of the epic poem "The Song of the Nibelungs" the ideas of the Western European Middle Ages about political violence are considered. The authors study the conditions, under which the commission of violence was morally acceptable and relatively safe for the state and society, and identify such criteria as the actor, the way of preparation and the method of violence realization.
