PROBLEM OF TRUTH IN SOCIAL AND HISTORICAL COGNITION

Abstract. The article analyzes the components of historical knowledge and actualizes the idea of the necessity of considering the problem of historical knowledge validity in the system of social structures. Addressing the issues of the substitution of a historical fact validity is especially topical not only from academic but also from practical point of view. Turning to the issues of national history constructing will allow us to predetermine the ways of society development and avoid deliberate manipulations in the area of historical events falsification.
