Abstract. The article considers the specificity of the spatial approach to non-spatial phenomena by the example of artistic creativity. Spatially oriented metaphors create a conceptual field of the "creativity" phenomenon. Horizontal and vertical markers are responsible for building a spatial model of creativity. The author’s conception of art space and the opposition of sacred/secular are empirical material.
