Abstract. The paper analyzes and considers the notion "cultural industries". Today cultural industries take a significant place in culture, policy and economy of many countries. The article highlights indications of cultural industries, typical features of cultural production, and also gives a characteristic of creators of cultural benefits. It is stated that development of cultural industries promotes innovative development of cultural space.
