DESIGNING GUEST HOUSE INTERIORS BASED ON THE IMAGES AND STORY-LINES OF FINNO-UGRIC COSMOGONIC MYTHS

Abstract. The article describes the possibilities for using Finno-Ugric world creation myths while designing guest house interiors in ethnic style. The author analyzes the conception of myth, presents a survey of Finno-Ugric cosmogonic myths, mentions the basic natural and artificial sights of the Komi Republic capable to attract ethnic tourists in the region, and proposes variants of the artistic-constructive adaptation of myths in relation to the objects of modern living space.
