GAME MODEL OF MADMAN IN THE VIDEOGAME "VAMPIRE: THE MASQUERADE - BLOODLINES"

Abstract. The article examines the peculiarities of artistic embodiment of the madness phenomenon in the videogame "Vampire: the Masquerade - Bloodlines". In the game world the madness phenomenon is reflected by the authors at several levels: it is presented in the plot of the videogame many-sidedly; it is traced in the motive structure and image system. The motive of madness in the videogame is interwoven with the motifs of laughter, duality, denunciation and theatricality. The game model of the protagonist-madman, created by authors, presents special interest.
