FOLKLORIC METHODS IN N. V. KOSHELEVA’S CHORAL COMPOSITIONS

Abstract. The article considers folkloric methods and their classification, provides an analysis of choral compositions by the Mordovian composer N. V. Kosheleva. The author discovers the peculiarities of implementing Mordovian musical folklore in small genre choral compositions and cantata "Mordovian Songs", identifies the methods of genre transformation, genre synthesis manifesting themselves in the combination of folk texts and author’s music, genre principles of round song and chastushka, song and lamentation.
