G. E. MOORE’S ARGUMENTS IN DEFENSE OF FOUNDATION OF ETHICS AUTONOMY

Abstract. In the article the arguments of neo-realism in favor of the foundation of autonomous ethics developed in G. E. Moore’s philosophical system are analyzed. The authors reveal the peculiarities of the formation and development of the analytical method that sets the pace for criticizing the existing theories in both philosophy and ethics. It is stated that ethics is powerless to show and to prove existence of good as sensually perceived. The ways and possibilities of substantiating the modern analytical metaethics are discussed.
