ARCHAIZATION AND DEGRADATION IN SOCIOCULTURAL SPACE

Abstract. The article reveals relationship between the processes of sociocultural degradation and archaization in the period of the sociocultural crisis. Degradation and archaization are two interrelated processes that determine transformations, which happen to individuals and the whole society. The main characteristics of sociocultural degradation are considered, while the essence of sociocultural degradation is interpreted as interaction of "social" and "cultural". Attention is focused on the processes of archaization and degradation in the "logosphere" of modern culture.
