THE DEVELOPMENT OF PRESCHOOLERS’ LOGICAL THINKING IN THE PROCESS OF FORMATION OF ELEMENTARY MATHEMATICAL CONCEPTS ON THE BASIS OF PROBLEM SITUATIONS

Abstract. The article discusses the question of the impact of problem situations on the development of logical thinking of preschool children in the process of formation of elementary mathematical concepts. In this context we study the importance of the creation of problem situations in educational activity in mathematics. The author describes the importance of problem situations for the development of cognitive and creative abilities of preschool age children in the logical-mathematical activity and offers to apply methodological techniques for the creation of problem situations, as a means of child’s mental development.
