EPISTEMOLOGY OF ART WITHIN THE FIELD OF COGNITIVE RESEARCH: THE BASIC TRENDS, MODERN STATE AND PROSPECTS

Abstract. Neuro-genetic foundations of artistic cognitive activity (within the framework of neuro-aesthetics) just recently have attracted the attention of the West European philosophical thought while in the domestic philosophy they have not been studied at all. The analysis of their considerable influence on the basic conceptions of philosophy of science and epistemology is an original research, the results of which have high heuristic potential for reconstructing the key problems of philosophy of science and endowing I. Kant’s transcendentalism with new dimensions appropriate for bio-cultural co-constructivism conception.
