Abstract. The authors point out that, in spite of numerous influences, the Russian philosophy remains faithful to its traditions. Analysing unknown works of L. P. Karsavin and V. M. Bekhterev, the paper shows that influence of positive philosophy tending to absolutize science does not reduce religious orientation of domestic thought, in particular, within philosophical discourse of pan-unity. The authors suggest a thesis that "the third path" of philosophy, critical realism, allows efficient integration of different ideological conceptions to achieve its basic purpose - to reveal interrelations of spiritual and material levels of existence.
