Abstract. The article reveals the aspect of theatrical semantics in the intonation complex of Mozart’s piano sonatas from the viewpoint of performing practice. Interrelation of the composer’s operatic and instrumental creative work is examined from the viewpoint of theatrical intertextuality. Artistic interpretation of Mozart’s piano sonatas involves decoding the composer’s semantic complexes. The paper identifies correlations of personages who "moved" from the sphere of operatic art into the space of the sonata cycle.
