Global Virtualization as a Result of Society Informatization

Abstract. The necessity to study the processes of the society informatization is conditioned by the fact that penetration of information technologies in all the spheres of social life leads to transition of the digital society to a new stage of its evolution - the global digital society. Informatization leads to inconvertible, ambiguous changes affecting all the spheres of the global community’s life. The author reveals the influence of the Internet on the process of forming the virtual global community, justifies the relevance of the studies devoted to analysing current global processes and identifying their influence on the society.
