Aesthetic Interpretation of Musical Composition as a Subject Area of Hermeneutics

Abstract. The article considers the hermeneutic approach to aesthetic interpretation of a musical composition. Describing the basic stages of hermeneutics development, the author focuses on identifying peculiarities of musical hermeneutics, reveals specificity of the musical text, speech, language. The paper aims to justify efficiency of the hermeneutic method of aesthetic interpretation. Hermeneutic methodology is not universal and has restrictions in comparison with the traditional theoretical analysis. To improve musical performance, the synthetic approach is required.
