Scientific Dynasties Role in Sociocultural Development of a Region

Abstract. The paper aims to identify the role of family values and dynasties’ scientific and intellectual potential in sociocultural development of a region. The phenomenon of scientific dynasties is considered as an example of inter-generational reproduction of sociocultural attitude, an individual’s socialization and adaptation. The author argues that the dynastic factor ensures continuity of generations in science development. Scientific originality of the study involves revealing a regional aspect of forming dynasties as a core of research teams. The findings are as follows: the author proves that scientific dynasties are a necessary human resource, which promotes growth of the scientific potential and ensures stability of regional scientific community.
