Problem of Formation of School and University Students’ Historical Awareness on the Internet: Value-Based Approach

Abstract. The aim of the research is to identify the role of the world outlook in the process of formation of young people’s historical awareness on the Internet. In the course of consideration of the problem, the principles of development and connection of all the elements of spiritual world, methods of analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction are applied. The scientific originality of the research consists in the discovery of the correlation between the level of historical culture, development of the world outlook and the results of the influence of the Internet on the formation of historical awareness. The high level of value-based development allows better evaluating and assimilating information on historical topics, contributes to the more harmonious development of historical awareness. As a result, the research shows a dialectical connection between personality’s value basis and the Internet users’ historical awareness.
