History of Relations between Russia Altai and Mongolia in the XX Century in the Field of Visual Arts: Chronology of Events

Abstract. The purpose of the research is to create a chronology of events in the history of relations between Russia Altai and Mongolia in the XX century in the field of visual arts. The article is the first to pay attention to creation of a chronology of this historical phenomenon; to identify previously unknown events and facts; to shed light on the activities undertaken by representatives of Russia and Mongolia who left a significant mark in the intercultural dialogue. Scientific novelty of the research lies in using the historical and chronological approach to studying the history of relations between Russia Altai and Mongolia in the XX century in the field of visual arts. As a result of the work, the researcher has identified the main events in the history of the relations, determined the time frame of the historical phenomenon and created a chronology of the events.
