Аннотация.
Цель исследования - формирование интеллектуальной матрицы воззрений американских авторов 1820-1850-х гг. на генезис внешней политики США. Фокус анализа охватил взгляды Дж. Банкрофта, Т. Лаймена-младшего, Ж.-Б. К. Ф. де Мариньи, Т. Питкина, У. Г. Трескота, Р. Хилдрета. Научная новизна работы заключается в применении парадигмального анализа для систематизации взглядов авторов по направлениям и течениям; выявлении внутренних и внешних факторов формирования точек зрения исследователей; оценке вклада идей авторов в историографию темы. Результаты исследования показали влияние парадигмального перехода от донаучного к научному мышлению, отразившегося на взглядах историков-аматеров, развивавшихся в рамках «автохтонного», «международного» направлений, интернационального институционального, националистического, системного, юридического течений.
