Cимплификация как тенденция англоязычного юридического дискурса: теоретический обзор зарубежных исследований

Аннотация. Цель исследования – теоретический обзор современных зарубежных научных публикаций, посвященных симплификации англоязычного юридического дискурса. Отобранный для обзора материал носит описательно-систематизирующий характер и отражает различные подходы к определению симплификации и стратегий преобразования текста. Анализ зарубежных публикаций проведен в русле диахронического и функционального подходов. Научная новизна работы состоит в периодизации эволюции юридического английского языка, выявлении национальных особенностей процессов упрощения, систематизации лексических и грамматических изменений в юридическом английском языке, соответствующих процессам симплификации, происходящим сегодня в англоязычном юридическом дискурсе. Результаты анализа показывают, что проблема упрощения юридического английского языка является актуальной для англоязычного академического сообщества. Несмотря на разное понимание предпосылок развития симплификации, большинство авторов указывают на ее объективность, что обусловлено историческим развитием английского языка под влиянием целого комплекса экстралингвистических факторов. Проблема симплификации обладает особой значимостью в контексте обеспечения понятности и доступности юридических текстов для широкой общественности.
