Abstract. The article is aimed at researching the peculiarities of vitamins Е and С influence on some indexes of the oxidative status of rats’ kidney tissue and blood having streptozotocin diabetes. It is ascertained that vitamins Е and С use was accompanied with the significant reduction of the level of the primary and final products of lipids peroxide oxidation, the normalization of the concentration of deoxidated proteins SH-groups and catalase activation in rats’ kidney tissue. The results of our research indicate that it is reasonable to use antioxidant vitamins Е and С for the normalization of general antioxidant status and some its components.
