Abstract.
The article considers the glamour as the phenomenon piercing all spheres of social system, all human existence both social and individual. Using the systematic-structural and functional approaches the author makes an attempt to disclose the essence of glamour as an integral sociocultural phenomenon. Parsons conception about the systems of action and social systems was taken as a base of research that allowed emphasizing glamour subsystem and its main functions.
