DEVELOPING ACADEMIC TERMINOLOGICAL DICTIONARY ON DISCIPLINE “HISTORY” (FOR STUDENTS OF TECHNICAL HIGHER EDUCATION ESTABLISHMENTS)

Abstract. The article is devoted to the development of the methodological conception of an academic terminological dictionary design on the discipline “History” (for the students of technical higher education establishments). The author reveals the lexicographical aspects of writing an academic handbook, analyzes in detail the stages of its creation from design to preparation for publication. Particular attention is paid to the principles of dictionary card file formation and the content of dictionary entries, which must be consistent with the academic documentation of the discipline and consider the latest achievements and the main directions of historical science (social history, gender history, the history of everyday life).
