ABSURD IN ARTISTIC WORK

Abstract.
The article is devoted to the phenomenon of absurd in art. The author points out two aspects of artistic work absurdity. The first one relates to the fact that the “essence” of a work is never fully reflected in the discourse about it. According to the second one, the full phenomenal openness of an artistic work makes it inaccessible for discursive mastering. It is proved that there is no difference between the “truth” of a work of art and the “truth” of aesthetic pleasure. Thus the author calls into question the value of discourse about art.
