Abstract.
The article describes the main tendencies of a child’s aesthetic development in early childhood in the modern preschool education system of Ukraine. The author considers possibilities of the aesthetic development of children from 1 to 3 years old in the conditions of public and alternative establishments for children, singles out informal art education, its tasks and the forms of educational process organization with kids. The author provides recommendations relating to the development of preschool art education in Ukraine and its first link - a young child’s aesthetic education.
