Abstract.
In the article philosophical ideas, which, in the authors’ opinion, are the basis of transformations occurring in professional education today, are presented. In particular, the authors study the concept of “self-regard” as an essential characteristic of the educational process of a professional, give the interpretation of a new meaning of the notion “efficient education” through the terms “knowing that” and “knowing how”.
