Abstract.
The article is devoted to the problem of agriculture development within the territory of Vawkavysk district in the post-reform period. The author considers changes in agriculture management after the abolition of serfage. The goal of the work is to study the problems in agriculture that arose as a result of the abolition of serfage. The topicality of the research is in the elimination of the gaps of the little known historical pages of certain regions of the Russian Empire. The materials of the National Historical Archive of Belarus in the city of Grodno are assumed as the basis of the work.
