THE ENGLISH GARDEN ART FORMATION IN THE XIII-XIX CENTURIES

Abstract.
The article is devoted to the formation of garden art in England in the XIII-XIX centuries. The dynamics of the historical development of this phenomenon, which is an essential part of the culture and everyday life of the English society, is shown. The author considers two crucial for studying the history of the English landscape design styles: regular and landscape ones, the main stages of the development of each of the style directions are singled out.
