GDP FORECAST OF THE REPUBLIC OF SEYCHELLES

Abstract.
The article discusses changes in the gross domestic product (GDP) of the Republic of Seychelles. The analysis of the statistical GDP data with the use of Trend Line, as well as the functions LINEST and LOGEST in MS Excel, enabled to choose the functions that can be used for the forecast. On the basis of the obtained functions the GDP of the country was calculated till 2030. The calculations of errors showed rather small deviations compared to the statistical GDP data.
