Abstract.
The author of the article considers the stages of entrepreneurship formation under the conditions of the restrain of liberty, and determines its structure. An attempt is made to analyze the system of the institutions of public participation in the organization of various forms of entrepreneurship in penal establishments. Basing on the study, the assumption is made about the social significance of entrepreneurial activity for the reduction of the recurrence of crimes committed by persons, who have served their sentence in the form of the deprivation of liberty.
