Abstract.
The article pays attention to the problems of the functioning of small and medium business entities and the need to increase the economic potential of entrepreneurial entities. The authors study the fragmentation of large corporations and its negative consequences, and offer for their elimination the mechanisms of the activation of the Russian enterprises economic potential basing on the consolidation of the forms of public-private partnership and the diversification of ownership.
