SOCIAL ACTIVITY OF YOUNG PEOPLE AS A FACTOR OF THEIR HUMAN CAPITAL FORMATION

Abstract. The paper presents some results of a sample survey of the population of Volgograd city and Volgograd region aged 16-29, aimed at identifying the real effectiveness of investments in the basic components of young people’s human capital. The massive questionnaire survey acted as a method of collecting primary data. The numerical values ​​on some indicators of young people’s social activity were obtained. It is proved that young people’s social activity in modern Russia is quite high. Under certain conditions it may become a significant positive factor of the efficient formation of the Russian young people’s human capital.
