Abstract.
The article emphasizes the importance of the evaluation of the activity of the teaching staff of the establishments of higher education of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, identifies the causes of the complexity of developing models and methods for the evaluation of educational activity, substantiates the influence of the rating system of teachers’ work evaluation on the efficiency of universities work in general and the improvement of educational services quality, characterizes the methodology of the evaluation of the efficiency of teaching staff work.
