Abstract.
The article analyzes possible tactics of the police officer’s behaviour in fire contact at short distance. The paper gives the comparative characteristic of the legal grounds of firearms use by the police officer according to the Russian and Ukrainian legislations. On the basis of the conducted research the author proposes to implement the practicing of the considered tactical activity during the professional and physical training of police officers.
