Abstract.
The article examines the factors that have determining influence on the frequency of energy crises occurrence in the world economy, gives a mathematical assessment of the upper threshold of the current gap in energy consumption in developed countries and the third world countries, shows the problems that the world economy faces in the event of energy crisis occurrence. The analysis of the dynamics of oil recovery as an indicator of the state of global energy market is carried out.
