ROLE OF BANKING SECTOR IN INVESTMENT-INNOVATIVE PROCESS

Abstract.
The article discusses the role of banking sector in investment-innovative process. It is found that banks as the main institutions of financial market do not provide sufficient accumulation of free cash and its direction in the form of investments in the real sector of economy. The paper substantiates the necessity of strengthening the interconnection of banks and industrial organizations in the implementation of investment-innovative programs, in particular, the introduction of the mechanisms of project financing.
