STRUCTURING THE COURSE “BASICS OF INFORMATIONAL ANALYTICS” FOR STUDENTS OF “ADVERTISING AND PUBLIC RELATIONS” DIRECTION

Abstract. The paper proposes the structure of the course “Basics of Informational Analytics” for the students of “Advertising and Public Relations” direction. The necessity to revise the sections of the course is stipulated by different approaches to teaching the discipline. The article provides an overview of the basic concepts - “analyst”, “analytical work”, “methods of informational-analytical work”, “research methods in PR”. The author examines in detail the topics of analytical work in PR, Internet search and mass media review, as she considers them to be some of the main activities of the modern analyst.
