PROBLEMS OF ATTRACTING SAVINGS OF POPULATION AS INVESTMENT IN THE RUSSIAN ECONOMY

Abstract. In the article the necessity to use the savings of population as an internal investment resource is grounded. The results of statistical data analysis, which allow identifying changes in the amount of the main components of the monetary savings of the citizens of the country for the past few years, are presented. A brief description of the most popular of the existing ways of the investment of the personal savings of individuals is given. The problems of the inefficient use of the personal savings of population as investment are singled out, and measures to overcome them are identified.
