KEY MOTIVES IN D. RUBINA’S NOVELS “STYLE OF LEONARDO” AND “PETRUSHKA SYNDROME”

Abstract. This article attempts to characterize the key motives and reveal the peculiarities of their functioning in the context of the work by the material of D. I. Rubina’s novels “Style of Leonardo” and “Petrushka Syndrome”. The authors also consider the specific features of the realization of the personality of genius. The obtained results enable to conclude that the leading motives and a special type of character become keys to understanding conflict in the above mentioned works.
