SPECIFICS OF ARTISTIC SPACE IN THE POEM BY VENEDIKT YEROFEYEV “MOSCOW - PETUSHKI”

Abstract. The article aims to analyze the specifics of artistic space in the poem by Venedikt Yerofeyev “Moscow - Petushki”. The paper focuses on the special cyclic structure of the poem and the chronotope of road implementing the story-forming function. Analyzing the text the author points out that the geographical space of the literary work is immediately associated with mythological, philosophical and mental spaces. The researcher identifies the internal space of the electric train carriage as a special one.
