URBANISTIC CONCEPTION “STREET” IN PHILOSOPHICAL-ETYMOLOGICAL ASPECT OF RUSSIAN CULTURE

Abstract.
The article analyzes the terminology of architectural infrastructure in philosophical aspect explicating gnosiological involvement into the historical stratum of urban culture. The object of the research is the lexeme “street” included into the concept of urban ontology and acquiring semiotic meaning in urbanistic context. The analysis of the concept is carried out by the material of Saint Petersburg urban structure using hermeneutic and linguistic research methods.
