Abstract.
The article describes the methodology to teach the computer programme AUTODESK INVENTOR within the course “Engineering Graphics” for technical higher schools. The programme allows students to design 3D-models, which are immediate virtual samples of an item and to make all the necessary adjustments to a 3D-model. At the same time students acquire the skills of developing engineering documentation using graphical packages. Such documentation, as a rule, has no typical mistakes.
