MODAL CONSTRUCTIONS WITH THE MEANING OF SUPPOSITION IN THE STRUCTURE OF THE COMMUNICATIVE-VERBAL FORM “DESCRIPTION”

Abstract.
The article is devoted to investigating a linguo-pragmatic aspect of a literary text containing subjective-modal components. The author analyzes the functioning of modal constructions with the meaning of supposition in the structure of the compositional-verbal form “description” by the example of the fragments of the German fiction of the beginning of the XXI century. The quantitative analysis of sample texts allowed identifying the percentage of the frequency of the “pure” and “mixed” communicative-verbal form “description”.
