Abstract.
The article is devoted to peculiarities of interaction of the text of a postcard-poster and its visual range. History of the genre of open letter in Europe and Russia is examined. Examples of interaction of texts of various postcards and their visual range and creation of comic effect on this basis are given. Language techniques used by their authors are identified in the course of the analysis of the texts of postcards-posters.
