Abstract. The article discusses effectiveness of welding equipment in production of heat-exchange apparatuses. The authors study advantages of robotized systems application with the use of laser welding in comparison with argon-arc welding in the welding of pipes with a tube plate of the heat exchange apparatus. The paper describes the structure and principle of operation of the robotized complex. The article also gives the welding regime parameters and the basic characteristics of samples of the welded joint that allow drawing conclusions about the method of welding.
