Abstract.
The article gives a characteristic of armored weapon, in particular - the tank. Tanks play an important role in modern local wars. Requirements for armored weapon are listed. Malfunctions in the operation of the T-72 tank are analyzed. Special attention is paid to fuel systems of tank diesel engines. Peculiarities of functioning of the T-72 tank engine on different types of fuel are singled out.
