STYLISTIC TRANSFORMATIONS USE WHILE LEGAL TEXT TRANSLATING

Abstract. The article analyzes peculiarities of transfer of stylistic devices of the English academic text on legal subject matter in the Russian language and compares characteristics of the scientific style of the two languages. The author describes some types of translation transformations in the context of their application while translating the scientific text and, in particular, special vocabulary. The ways of preserving stylistic equivalence in the target language in written monologic speech are studied.
