Abstract.
The article is devoted to the study of anthropology reflection in Leo Tolstoy’s creativity. The main theme of his work was moral formation of the man. The thinker came to an important for the further establishment of his worldview thought: the man simultaneously refers to the world of the God and the world of the Devil. And in order to understand the man, the writer analyzed himself. As a result, the thinker came to the following conclusion: the man is like a flowing river, two fundamentals are fighting in him: good and evil, but if a person does not want to change, he ceases to be a Man.
