Abstract.
In the article various communication practices of a library as the center of culture interaction are considered. Special attention is paid to the dialogical communication of readers during which they have an opportunity to cooperate directly with people of "other" cultures, to specify and correct the points of views, to develop the common views, to participate in the formation of a new reality shared with others.
